Thanks for sending this. I was on ABCTV 6:00 news tonight. But I heard it on the radio and the call-ins were saying the Jewish Community would be very pleased since they didn't like the competition, and that they might have set it up. I don't know if it's possible, but I do know most of the jewelry stores have always been Jewish run, and there is a whole street in the City called the Diamond District, where little men in black hats with long curls carry loose diamonds in their pockets. Years ago I went there with a guy who wanted to marry me, we had an appointment to meet a dealer. He let us in and opened his coat and took out small bags then tipped them out on a velvet clothe. Each bag contained different sized stones. They deal directly with South Africa, buying and trading raw and cut stones. I didn't like the guy and I didn't pick a stone, I ditched the date and decided I didn't want to marry him! But it was a very interesting experience.
